Modern Kitchens Stockton & Middlesbrough

The cost of a bespoke kitchen can vary depending on the size of your space, the materials you choose, and the level of customisation involved. At Barker & Co, we believe in transparent pricing and tailored solutions. Some clients opt for high-end granite or quartz kitchen worktops and solid wood kitchen doors, while others prefer more cost-effective finishes that still offer a premium look. We work with a wide range of styles—from elegant traditional kitchens to sleek modern kitchens—so we can match your design vision to your budget. As a rough guide, most of our bespoke kitchens start from mid-range pricing upwards, depending on the scope of work. The benefit of going bespoke is that you're investing in long-term quality and a design that suits you perfectly. We always provide a detailed quote upfront, so you’ll know exactly what you’re getting, with no hidden costs or surprises along the way.

Absolutely—many of our clients choose to combine elements of both traditional kitchens and modern kitchens to create a space that’s unique and timeless. This approach is often referred to as a contemporary kitchen style, where you might pair classic design features like shaker-style kitchen doors or Belfast sinks with sleek appliances, minimal lines, or bold colour choices. At Barker & Co, we help you strike the right balance by blending materials, finishes, and design details that work in harmony. For example, you could match solid wood kitchen worktops with modern matt units or use traditional cabinet shapes with soft-close, handleless kitchen doors. Mixing styles allows you to create a kitchen that feels both fresh and warm—perfect for period homes in Middlesbrough or newer properties in Stockton. Our design team will guide you through all the possibilities to ensure the final result feels cohesive and perfectly suited to your space.

The timeline for a bespoke kitchen installation typically ranges between 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the complexity of the design and the availability of materials. At Barker & Co, we start with a thorough design phase, where we finalise the layout, kitchen worktops, kitchen doors, and finishes. Once everything is approved and custom-built, we’ll schedule your installation date and coordinate the entire process. Because bespoke kitchens are made to measure, some components may require longer lead times, especially if they are handcrafted or sourced specially for your project. However, the result is worth the wait—a kitchen that fits your space perfectly and meets all your needs. Our installation team works efficiently and with great care, ensuring minimal disruption to your home. We’ll also keep you fully informed throughout the process, so you know exactly what to expect at each stage. From design to completion, we’re with you every step of the way.
